We are a group of those who have been committed to establishing the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in the city of York. We have been blessed in this regard and have seen our hopes come to fruition. There is still much more work to be done. We believe that such a centrally placed location, combined with its historic and ecclesiastical importance, is ripe for this important work of Catholic mission.

We invite all to attend any of our public services. At our services, we are blessed to have Ordinariate members, regular Catholics, Anglicans, those with some religion and those with no religion at all. All are welcome!  We encourage inquiries of those from an Anglican background who may wish to join the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham and encourage any Catholics who wish to be affiliated and enrolled within the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Presently, Mass is offered in the beautiful and oldest church in York, St Mary’s, Bishophill Junior. However, it is advisable to contact us first to make sure that any given service is taking place, particularly if you are travelling. That said, all Masses will be advertised on this website and updated regularly.
